I am a Santa Clarita native who has been lucky enough to live in SCV for the past 22 years! I grew up going to Helmers Elementary School, Rio Norte Jr. High School, and Valencia High School. After winning a state title in the 800m during my senior year at Valencia, I went on to play Division I soccer and track and field at the University of San Francisco. After two years of a very busy schedule, I decided to focus on my studies and I transferred to UC Santa Barbara where I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Psychology. After graduation, I moved back to Santa Clarita and worked towards my Masters in Coaching and Athletic Administration. I coached Varsity Girls Soccer at Saugus High School for three years before I was lucky enough to become a full-time teacher at OLPH. This is my second year teaching 6th grade at OLPH, although I was previously the PE teacher and was blessed to get to know so many students on campus and become a part of the OLPH family. This year I will be working towards my Masters in Education at Loyola Marymount University.
In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, hiking, going to concerts and sporting events, and spending time with my fiance, Dominick, and our dog, Copper!
