TK About Me

Hello TK Parents,

My name is Annie Peterson, and I am pleased to be your child’s TK teacher! This year marks the beginning of your child’s journey in education. Throughout the year, they will be learning everything they will need to know in order to be successful in kindergarten and in the years to come.

About me:

I was born and raised in Santa Clarita and attended OLPH during elementary school. Throughout the years, the Catholic faith has been an integral part of my life, and I am thrilled to be teaching at a school where I may incorporate the Catholic faith and morals into academic curriculum. In 2016, I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Go Bruins! Afterwards, I went on to receive my Masters in Elementary Education as well as my Teaching Credential at Loyola Marymount Graduate School of Education.  Throughout my life, I have had a passion for education and have been trained in providing the best learning opportunities for your child. I am experienced in teaching students with unique strengths, needs, and backgrounds. I am truly excited to get to know your child and build upon their strengths to ensure that they are becoming the best version of themselves!

Communication:

As an educator, communication is very important to me. The best way to contact me with any questions regarding your child is via email: anne.teachertk@gmail.com or through a scheduled appointment for before/after school; appointments may be scheduled via email correspondence.  I believe it is very important to communicate with my students’ parents on a regular basis because you are their biggest advocate, and you know your child best.

I am confident that this is going to be a wonderful year and am honored to be your child’s first elementary school teacher!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Peterson
