OLPH Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) organizes events that help to build relationships and raise funds to supplement the cost of educating students at OLPH School. The PTO relies on parent volunteers to organize and participate in the events. Parents have many chances to earn their service hours by chairing, co-chairing or assisting in the various fundraising opportunities that the PTO sponsors each school year. Fundraising also encourages families to become involved in their children’s school and provides opportunities for us to create and sustain a strong school community. It takes many people to help assure the success of these events. Please consider getting involved in the PTO.
Two of the annual PTO events are considered mandatory fundraisers—Fall Bingo and the Spring Auction Dinner Dance, which means that all parents are obligated to contribute a preset amount to these events and hopefully participate in them as well.
However you choose to participate in our fundraising endeavors, we are grateful for your support and participation.
Our annual Bingo encourages parents, parishioners and others in the community to come together for an evening of fun while raising money for our school. Families must pay to for at least one Bingo ticket (we hope you bring a friend or two). Our hope is that the school families, their friends and other members of the community will participate to make this event a success.
Auction Dinner Dance (mandatory)
The annual PTO Auction Dinner Dance is a fun evening for parents, friends and family of the OLPH community. The evening consists of cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a silent and live charity auction. Each school family is required to purchase one, non-transferable ticket to this event. The auction dinner dance is held in various venues in the community and has a different theme each year. Invitations are sent to school families, but the entire parish community is invited to participate.
During the auction portion of the evening, there are always a wide variety of items to bid on—trips, dinner parties, home decor items, gift baskets, collectibles, children’s birthday parties, and much more. This event is a great way to share your spirit, fellowship and love for the OLPH School community.
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Annual Golf Tournament is an important fundraising event for the school. You will enjoy a beautiful day on the course with friends while raising funds that benefit OLPH Catholic School. Don’t golf? Join us for the fabulous dinner and auction after the tournament. You won’t be disappointed! This event is open to the entire community and offers many sponsorship opportunities. All school families are encouraged to help sell golf ball drop tickets.
Students are encouraged to sell a variety of items that usually include gift wrap, boxed candy, cookie dough and other novelty items.
Our annual Book Fair is usually scheduled during the last week of October. It’s perfect timing for holiday gift giving. There are books and other items available for all ages. Stop by to browse the selection.
This annual family event is a favorite tradition of the students and parents of OLPH School. The lower playground is transformed into a carnival that includes food and games. This event is fun for the whole family.
This fundraiser has students selling delicious Popcornopoils brand popcorn. Many flavors of popcorn are available for sale. Popcorn is delivered before Easter making it a perfect item for Easter baskets. This fundraiser has been a huge success in the past.

eScrip is a hassle-free way for our school to raise funds through everyday purchases made at eScrip merchants. It’s simple and convenient; all you do is register your grocery club cards, debit and credit cards and shop at an eScrip merchant. These stores donate a percentage of what you spend back to our school. eScrip does not cost you anything. Encourage your family and friends to join too. We have potential to earn thousands of dollars from this program.

- Register your grocery club cards from participating merchants and your debit, ATM and credit cards if you wish.
Look for the Box Tops logo on hundreds of products like Cheerios®, Hamburger Helper® and Kleenex®, in almost every aisle of the store. Each one is worth 10¢ for our school. Collect ten box tops, put them in a baggie with your child’s name and grade on it and turn it in at the school office. We hold a drawing once a month where students have an opportunity to win small prizes if their name is drawn.
Approximately once a month, the PTO will sponsor a restaurant night at a local eatery. Each restaurant gives a percentage of the sales back to our school. Watch for flyers to be sent home as some restaurants require them in order for our school to receive credit. While raising money for our school, these outings also offer our families an excuse to get together outside of the school setting and enjoy each other’s company.
