TK and Kindergarten Orientation and Back-to-School Night Information
We’re excited to welcome our families back to campus for the 2025–2026 school year! Below are important details about our upcoming orientation events and Back-to-School Night. Please read carefully to see which events apply to you.
📘 TK and Kindergarten Orientation
📅 Wednesday, August 13
🕕 6 to 7 p.m.
📍 In your child’s classroom
Parents only, please — no students.
This is an important meeting with Mrs. McCarthy (TK) and Mrs. Rosales (Kindergarten) to review classroom expectations, routines, and how we’ll work together to support your child’s first year at OLPH.
📘 New Parent Orientation
📅 Wednesday, August 13
🕖 7 to 8 p.m.
📍 Parish Hall
This session is for families who are new to OLPH. We’ll go over school procedures, communication tools, and ways to get involved in our vibrant school community. We hope to see all our new families there!
📘 Back-to-School Night (Grades 1 to 8)
📅 Thursday, August 14
Back-to-School Night is a time for parents to meet their child’s teachers and learn more about our academic programs and classroom expectations. This evening is designed for parents only and is not intended for students or for holding individual conferences.
📌 Please Note: TK and Kindergarten families do not attend Back-to-School Night because they already met with their teachers the night before.
🕓 4 p.m. — 8th-Grade Parent Meeting
📍 Grade 8 Classroom
We have an 8th-Grade Parent Meeting on Thursday, August 14 at 4 p.m. This important meeting will cover key information for the year ahead, including 8th-grade events, expectations, parent volunteer opportunities, class activities, shirt order details and more. Please make sure at least one guardian is present.
🕔 5 to 6 p.m. — Middle School (Grades 6 to 8)
Parents will rotate through the middle school classrooms based on their child’s grade level. Please follow the schedule below:

6th-Grade Parents: Start in the Grade 6 room → 7th → 8th

7th-Grade Parents: Start in the Grade 7 room → 8th → 6th

8th-Grade Parents: Start in the Grade 8 room → 6th → 7th
🕠 5:30 to 6 p.m. — Grades 1 to 5 (session 1)
Parents visit their child’s classroom.
🕕 6 to 6:30 p.m. — Grades 1 to 5 (session 2, repeat)
Same as the earlier session; attend this if you have more than one child or missed the first.
🕕 6 to 7 p.m. — Meet Our Specialists

PE, PTO, and Athletics: Hall

Library and Grades 6 to 8 Teachers: In their classroom.
🕡 6:30 to 7 p.m. — Extra Time for Grades 1 to 5
Classrooms will remain open if you didn’t have a chance to visit earlier.
🕖 7 p.m. — End of Back-to-School Night
